It is particularly notorious that the ever-rising price of real property in China has become cause of worry for an increasing number of people. Despite the measures have taken last year to cool down the overheated real estate market, few people now believe that the price would stabilize in the subsequent years. In order to solve this problem, China must do something, among other things, to make sure that everyone can have a living place.
In my opinion, drastic measures for curbing housing price rising must be carried out in the following aspects. First of all, adequate low-rent houses should be built for newly married couples. They are young, having not enough money to afford the apartments, but they are all the more need them. Secondly, the government should call off selling the land to keep their income. The expensive land increases the cost of the houses certainly and the additional cost will shift to the consumers at last. Finally, our common people should calm down to face the real estate bubble which will eventually burst in the future.
In a word, it is high time that we took forceful measures to manage well people’s dwelling place. It is a major event in people’s livelihood.

Good management can help an organization achieve its desired results. But for any organization, managing human resources is never an easy job. To manage well a group of scientists and research workers could be even more challenging.
First, since research staffs are all learned and highly opinionated individuals with independent thinking, the manager should never adopt simple and rather straightforward approaches that may otherwise be effective for other people. The manager himself should be highly educated, knowing what the researchers are doing, thinking and talking about, and then find appropriate ways to settle the differences. He also needs to have strong coordination competence in dealing with these independent people in fulfilling a collective task.
Secondly, the manager should be aware that his scientific staffs are decent people, sensitive to the way of treatment. Therefore, he must show his sincerity whenever talking with them about anything serious.
Thirdly, scientists are assets wherever they are and some of them may even be the backbones or pioneers in certain fields of research. If they are not satisfied with the management, work environment or living conditions provided for them, they may choose to leave the organization and find jobs elsewhere. This would definitely be a great loss to the organization. Therefore, a good manager should also take good care of these scientific staff, trying to solve their problems and improve their working and living conditions.
To make it short, a good manager of a research institution must do his utmost to provide the best possible environment for research.
