月份英语教案篇一:英语教案 What's the date today

What's the date today?

五年级139班 执教者:刘欣

Teaching contents: Unit5 what's the date today?第二课时

Teaching aims:

1、能听说、认读并书写

January,February,March,April,May,June,July,

August,September,October,November,December等月份名称。

2、了解第1~第31等序数词,并能运用序数词表示日期。

3、能听懂、会用What's the date today?询问日期,并能运

用所学

词汇灵活作答。

Key points and difficult points:

重点:能听说、认读并书写单词July,August,September, October,November,December。

难点:掌握句型What's the date today?

Preparations:

日历,多媒体课件,录音,磁带,十二个月份单词卡片。

Teaching process:

一、Revision

1、日常问候之后,直接问学生:

What day is it today?

What's the weather like today?

Do you know?

由此复习已学过的知识,并为本节课的学习做好铺垫。

2、复习上节课所学单词。出示单词卡片,让学生进行抢答单词比赛。

二、New Presentation

1、 承接刚才的活动,马上拿出七月的单词卡片,问学生:

What mouth is this,

Who can spell it?

出示多媒体课件7月图片,教授词汇:July。

领读,学生跟读。

2、 介绍单词:August

出示日历8月图片,教授单词August,让学生边读边书写。

3、 用同样的方法向学生一一介绍并教授单词

September,October,

November,December。然后播放录音,学生跟读。并让学生边读边空书单词,直到学生记住为止。

4、 教授本课对话中的重点句:What's the date today?

It's ...... 最后跟学生进行对话。

三、Fun Practice

1、说相反

听口令说相反,通过此游戏来复习巩固所学的有关月份单词。

2、日历猜猜猜

出示日历图片,请同学上台找出图片上所显示的月份单词,找到之后让学生相互进行对话表演。通过此游戏来复习巩固“今天是几月几号,”这个句型。

Seven periods are used for the teaching of this unit. Different curriculum has different difficult and important points. They will be shown respectively in each period.

Period I

Topic: Warming up

Purpose:

1) Eich the knowledge about the national opera by having talks with students.

2) Enlarge the vocabulary by introducing some of the relevant words and phrases to students.

Method: Show pictures in slides and have talks about what have been shown. Time: One period

Tool: Multimedia teaching machines and ppts.

Difficult points:

1) Understand what the teacher says in English.

2) Respond to the teacher’s words both in time and in a suitable way.

Important points: Remember the frequently-used words in the

teacher-and-student talk.

Teaching procedure: This step consists of four activities.

Activity I: Show the words that will be used in the talk, such as, nation; national,

art; artist, music; musical, singing; singer; dialogue, Kungfu„

Activity II: Show the pictures of some famous actors of Beijing opera, such as, Tan

Xinpei, Mei Lanfang, Yang Xiaolou, and Zhou Xinfang , etc. at the same

time, have some remarks on the styles of their performances.

Activity III: Questions and answers

Question I: Do you like to watch Beijing opera? Why?

(Answer: Yes, I do, because they sing so emotionally and beautifully

that I am struck by their songs each time I watch them.)

Question II: Do you know anything about the history of Beijing

opera?

(Answer: I only know some famous ones such as White Snake and

Women Generals of the Yang Family.)

Question III: How much do you know about the Chinese culture?

Activity IV: Read the new words and expressions in the wordlist

(page 66, Book III)

of the reading text, which is a prevision to the next class period.

Assignments:

1. Remember the important and necessary new words and phrases in the wordlist of

page 66; namely, “heritage; originate; combine art; in common

with; date back to; perform; on; tour; artist; technique; unique; mass; the; mass; characterize; combination; accompany; be; accompanied; with; loud; rhythm; musical;

after class.
