High Temperature Resistant Performance Study of Glass Fiber Needled Filter Material

        AbstractYilun■ Aramid fiber and three different diameter of glass fibers are used to make composite filter material. The change of mechanical properties and permeability of the material can be tested by 160℃ 200℃ 240℃ and 280℃ high temperature treatment for 24 h. The results indicated that the needled filter material that made of 4 microns in diameter glass fiber its breaking force in warp remained at 93.06% by 280℃ high temperature treatment for 24 h. The weft-wise breaking force is obvious downward trend by high temperature treatment. Three filter material permeabilities are kept at more than 90% by high temperature treatment. The impact of processing temperature on filter material permeability is smaller.

        玻璃纤维针刺滤料耐高温性能研究

        【摘 要】本文利用三种不同直径的玻璃纤维与轶纶、芳纶混合制成复合滤料,测试了在经过160℃200℃240℃280℃高温处理24h后的力学性能和透气性的变化。结果表明:直径4μm的玻璃纤维制成的复合滤料经280℃处理24h后经向断裂强力仍保持在93.06%;由于针刺过程对纬向纤维的破坏较大,纬向断裂强力经高温处理后的下降趋势明显;经高温处理后透气性均保持在90%以上,说明处理温度对滤料透气性的影响较小。

        0 Introduction

        Glass fiberGF is a kind of inorganic fiber. It is one of the most high temperature resistant fibers whose using temperature is 260℃ 280℃. The main characteristics of glass fiber has a smooth surface and filtering less resistance which is beneficial to dust off. In addition the price of glass fibers are very cheap and sources of materials extensive.Considering its excellent physical chemical the filtration performance and cost factors glass fiber is the ideal filter material.
