2)名词:treasure, island, classic, page

3)形容词:due

( 4 ) 词组:full of , hurry up

( 5 )书名:Treasure Island, Little Women, Oliver Twist, Alice in Wonderland, Tom Sawyer, Robinson Crusoe

Difficulties(难点):现在完成时的运用

Teaching steps(教学步骤)

1. Free talk(课堂热身)

T: What books have you read?

S:

(老师可以鼓励学生给出尽可能多的答案, 可以用中文说出尽可能多的书名)

教学设计说明:让学生尽可能快地进入要学的本单元的知识点。

2. Presentation(呈现新知识)

T: Now, let’s look at some other books on the screen. Have you read before?

(教师呈现图片给学生,并介绍新给出图片的英文解释,借此操练句型)

(学生对书名的英文翻译不会很熟悉,教师可以先介绍出英文解释,再让学生操练现在完成时的句型。)

教学设计说明:让学生熟悉并学会使用现在完成时的一般疑问句形式。

3. Work on 1a

T: Look at the six pictures in 1a. They describe some events that happen in six books. Now, look at these pictures and check the ones you know.

(教师可以四处走动,以观察学生完成情况,也可以知道个别学生的错误。)

教学设计说明:让学生熟练书本上出现的几本名著的名字和大概内容。

4. Work on 1b

T: Now you’ll hear a conversation. Listen carefully and complete the chart.

(教师放录音,因为对话不算简单,教师可以放多一遍录音再订正答案)

教学设计说明:听力让学生进一步对重点句型的操练和几本名著的了解。

5. Work on 1c

T: Look at 1c. I want one student to read the conversation for us. Any volunteers?

T: Look at the picture in 1a. Ask and answer questions in pairs, Have you read Little Women yet?

教学设计说明:再一次操练句型。

6. Work on 2a & 2b

T: Mark and Tina are talking about the main ideas of some books. Let’s listen and finish 2a & 2b.

(教师放录音,学生选出答案。订正答案后,让学生复述听力的主要内容。)

7. Work on 2d

T: Amy and Steve are talking about their book report for English class. Read the conversation and answer the two questions.

(学生快速读完对话,完成PPT上提出的两个问题。)

TLet’s role-play the conversation.

( 带领学生学完对话,注意重要语言点和知识点的讲解和运用。)

Have SS retell the conversation using their own words.

( 将对话变成缺词填空的形式,让学生进一步把握对话。)

教学设计说明:分成几步来完成role play的教学,能让学生对于对话做到最大程度的掌握。

8. Homework

Have Ss practice reading aloud the new words they have just learned.
