Investment Conditions

1. Geography and climate:

Changde is a part of sub-tropical monsoon climate zone, four distinctive seasons, mild climate, abundant sunshine, and ample rainfall. The annual average temperature is 16.7 ℃ and the annual average precipitation is 1346.5 millimeters with maximum rainfall 2020.4 millimeters and minimum rainfall 927 milimeters. 2. Related charges

1) Labor cost

It’s USD 2000 per year for each general administrator and USD 1000 per year for each general laborer.

2) Power charges

the electricity price for commerce: RMB 0.944 per kilowatt hour

the electricity price for non-industry and common industry: RMB0.588 per kWh

the electricity price for big industry: RMB0.42 per kWh

The basic electricity price is RMB 20 kilovolt ampere per month (by the amount of transformer capacity) and RMB 30 kva per month (by the amount of maximum demand).

Those large power consumers with new production can sign direct purchase contract with power generation enterprises. They can determine the price of power together through negotiation.

7) Poplar: In the city the planting areas are 1.5 million acres, which mainly spread in Hanshou County, Lixian County, Anxiang County and Linli County, etc. Hanshou County has been named as “ the Chinese Hometown of Poplar”.

8) Bamboo: In the city there are 5.2 million pieces, which mainly spread in Taoyuan County, Dingcheng District and Hanshou County.

9) Gypsum: The reserve volume for gypsum above the D grade is about 3 billion tons with the character of good quality and easy exploitation. The reserve volume mainly spreads in Linli County, Lixian County and Shimen County and ranks first in Asia.

13) Phosphorite: The reserve volume for Phosphorite above the E grade is about 1.1 billion tons, which chiefly spreads in Shimen County and ranks first around China.

14) Silica sand: The reserve volume is about 9 million tons, which chiefly spreads in Shimen County and ranks first in Asia.

15) Calcium carbonate: The reserve volume is respectively 25 billion tons for cement limestone and 17 million tons for chemical limestone, which mainly spread in Shimen County and Taoyuan County.

16) Bentonite: The reserve volume is more than 200 million tons. It is widely used in the fields of petrochemical industry, medicine, pesticide and daily chemical industry, etc. It chiefly spreads in Lixian County, Taoyuan County and Linli County, etc.
