Reading and practice are a frequent topic of discussion when people have concentrated more on current affairs. Some people think that learning could easily be obtained by practice, whiles others claim that a better result can be achieved in a book. This essay will examine both these two views.

The benefits of learning by practice are obvious, and a major one is that people could be exposed to more individual experience. This is because, practice actually can help the people better understand and apply knowledge from a book to some extent. For instance, some schools provide the students with more opportunities to participate in social activities in which process, they can be taught how to apply theory to practice. Therefore, abundant abilities in manipulation and work give them the competitiveness when the university students are graduated. In addition, practice could enable people to acquire new knowledge. For example, some doctors know new medical cases according to asking the patient in the hospital.

Someone might argue that reading is more important. Everything you read fills your head with new bits of information, and you never know when it might come in handy. The more knowledge you have, the better-equipped you are to tackle any challenge you will ever face. Additionally, this is a bit of food for thought: should you ever find yourself in dire circumstances, remember that although you might lose everything else—your job, your possessions, your money, even your health—knowledge can never be taken from you.

To sum up, Reading and practice are equally important. In order to get knowledge, people should learn from books, and then, they need practice in society to apply theory to practice.
