・特邀专家论著・ 【作者简介】林琬生,北京大学儿童青少年卫生研究所教授。长期从事儿童青少年卫生和儿童保健的教学和科研工作,在儿童生长发育方面有深入研究。曾承担多项国家科研项目,于1989年获得国家科技进步奖二等奖,先后获得多项省、部级科技进步奖,1999年获全国先进科普工作者称号。在国内外专业期刊上发表科学论文80余篇,主编或参加编写十余本专业和科普著作。中日两国青少年儿童身高比较研究林琬生 杨光宇 王培花 曹若湘 段佳丽 马军 江崇民 胡承康甄志平 关明杰【摘要】 目的 了解中国和日本青少年儿童(简称“儿童”)身高差异及中国儿童身高发展趋势。 方法 将1979年至2000年中国全国性及1937年至2000年北京市7～17岁儿童身高资料与相应年代日本儿童身高资料比较。 结果 20世纪50年代以前,中国儿童身高高于日本儿童;以后日本儿童身高高于中国儿童,20世纪70年代两国儿童身高差值最大;20世纪80年代以后,两国儿童身高差距逐渐缩小;2000年时,中国儿童平均身高仅比日本低1.73cm (男)、0.78cm (女),而且女童部分年龄组身高已与日本女童相同或高于日本儿童。 结论 目前7～17岁中国儿童身高稍低于日本儿童,随中国城乡人群身高差距缩小、城乡居民营养状况改善,中国儿童生长长期变化处于上升期,而日本儿童已处于缓慢增长时期,中国儿童身高将继续增长,在不太长的时期内将接近或达到日本儿童身高水平。在跨文化研究中应该充分考虑两个比较实体间经济发展、幅员及自然环境的差异。【关键词】 身高;中国;日本;儿童;发展趋势A compare study on height between Chinese and Japanese adolescent and child L I N W ansheng ,Y A N G Guangy u ,W A N G P eihua ,et al .I nstitute of Child and A doles cent H ealth ,Peking U niv er sity ,Beij ing ,100083,China【Abstract 】 Obj ective T o under stand the differ ences of bo dy height betw een Chinese andJapanese adolescent &child a nd the development tendency of Chinese child heig ht.
