Lesson 3
教学目标
能听懂、会说：Please turn on the light. Please turn on the fan. Are you on duty today? Yes, I am. Who’s on duty today?
学习单词和词组：turn on , fan, hot, on duty,often等。
教具准备
录音带， 卡片， 挂图。
教学步骤和方法 ：
一 热身、复习
1.教师播放英语歌曲The Music Room, 全体学生跟着一起唱，边唱边表演。
2.用前一课的内容进行绕口令比赛。如：
The blue book is in the big black bag.
Piggy likes pears, peaches and potatoes.
二 学说英语
1.师边描述边出示卡片让学生认读单词和词组：
come to the classroom
fan hot
duty on duty
turn turn on
2.师说：It is a sunny day. Sally and Li Hong come to the classroom early. They are on duty today. Li Hong is turning on the light. She is turning on the fan, too.
3.学生听录音，看课文跟读。注意模仿正确的语音、语调。
三 你问我答
1.寻找当天值日生游戏。教师告诉学生，教师需要找到今天的值日生并请他帮个忙，同学们看看老师如何找，是否能找到。师用“Are you on duty today?”提问，示意学生回答“No, I’m not.”多问几位学生后师改用“Who’s on duty today?”询问，最后找出值日生。
2.做《活动手册》第3课第2题的连锁游戏，此游戏用来操练句型：Are you on duty today? No, I’m not. / Yes, I am. Who’s on duty today? Sorry, I don’t know. / I’m on duty today.
四 看图说话
1.师与生对话。
2.小组活动，学生扮演不同角色进行操练。
3.生上台汇报表演，全班评选表演优秀的小组。
五 课后活动
1.听录音，朗读对话并与同学一起表演。
2.完成《活动手册》上的活动。
