PET考试方法和技巧

简介:

PET考试分3部分:

Paper 1 READING/WRITING : 1 小时 30 分钟

Paper 2 LISTENING: 30 分钟其中有 8分钟誊抄答案时间

Paper 3 SPEAKING: 10-12 分钟

考试题型和内容

READING

Part 1 1-5叫做 匹配题”,5道题每道题会有 ABC三个选项供考生去选择考生需要 划出关键词然后根据意思去匹配出一个正确的选项其实就是同义句匹配。

这种类型题会出现各种样式的小短句,主要考察的是一些公共标识、商品标签、 学校通知、私

人联络等。

Part 2 6 -10题)就是“选5”,会有五组人,然后按照他们的需求去匹配后面的 A-H 8个广

告。

这种类型题目,主要话题有:买书、去博物馆、选酒店、选度假/露营场所、看电 影,选衣

服,选课程,选网站等,都是需要考生根据不同需求来匹配出最佳方案。先标出需求,然后用两 个需求去筛选,就会轻松得出结论。

Part 3 11- 20题)是 阅读判断题”,会给出10个小句子,要求考生判断这 10个句子是正确还 是错误的。这就需求考生能够在理解句意的基础上,去原文找到答案,来验证了。

这种类型题,都是有关真实生活,选自一些杂志、宣传册广告或是网站。找对 定位词”和关键

词”,去逐一分析和判断就可以了。

Part 4 (21- 25是阅读理解,会有5道题,其中第21题一般问作者的写作目的;22题问读者 可以得到什么信息或是启示;23-24题是问具体细节问题;25题就是一道描述主人公的性格或 特征”,选出一个符合主人公特点的句子。

Part 5 26- 35题)这是PET阅读部分的最后一道题了。就是完形填空。这个部分其实很简单, 因为选材要么是一个历史故事,要么是一个科普文章,所以,一般会考察过去 时,注意先读懂一遍文章(先读每一段的首末句),掌握大意,再去精读,边读边选词。

做过这个part的考生可以发现每个空白处附近的一两行之内必然会有提示,注意观察和寻找就 会找到正确答案哦!

其次,这个部分还会考察一些词汇、词组辨析,如:情态动词;限定词 very, much, quite, a lot,

more;代词 his, her, their, my...; 介词 on, in, at, with, without, of... 还有就是一些关联词,表因

果的because,表转转的but,however,表并列的 and,表让步、递进的 though, although 等。

Writ ing

Part 1是同义句转换题(共 5分)。此题会给出5个句子,然后根据这个句子再写出同义句,基 本上是填空,切记每空最多 3个单词。

这部分考题主要考察的知识点有:现在完成时(尤其 since,for,ever,never 比较级(as...as,

better than ), too...toenough to...的转换被动语态和主动语态转换时间词转换 spend

doing...last持续take花费之间的区分用法),过去时used to do...),直接引语和间接 引语之间的转换。

Part 2短文写作(5分)字数要求是35 -45字,一般都是给出3个问题,考生只要认真读题, 把3个问题都回答了,并且按照题意要求写作,就没问题。

这部分,学生们普遍爱范的错误:时态(尤其是一般现在时的三单)、单复数(尤其是复数名

词,女口 a pair of glasses, trousers; 还有看作单数的词 hair,不要说成a hair)、不读清题意(明 明题目说的是本周六,结果没看清楚,写出下周或是明天的)、格式( dear后面是逗号,不是 冒号;落款要写自己的英文姓名)。

Part 3写作(15分)字数要求是100字。会有两个问题,只选其一。第一篇作文通常是写一封 回信,回答所有问题;第二篇是续写作文,适合极富想象力的考生。考生按照自己喜好去选择其 中一篇发挥。

该部分介绍:

Part 1基本所有考生都会轻松应对,就是问一些常规问题,如: name, surname, school, family,

hobby 等。

Part 2 一张黑白图片,会有一个问题要你和你的伙伴一起讨论、解决,最终给出解决方案。

Part 3 一分钟描述彩色照片

该部分虽然只有1分钟,但是需要考生能够体现出过硬的英语口语能力,如:观察图片细节能 力、准确描述细节能力、语言组织能力等。

考生需要记住”八字原则:“由远及近,由人到物”拿到图片先给一个整体介绍,说明图片是什 么主题、有什么人物、发生在哪里,接着讲镜头拉近到每一个人物去描述;切记,如果是人物很 多,不要过分去描述每一个人的细节,否则最后时间到了,你只说了一两个人物。常用的句型

Part 4话题讨论

这是根据Part 3的彩色图片而来的话题你和你的伙伴会讨论一个话题互相交流看法。近年 来,话题基本都是围绕日常生活和学校生活展开,常考的话题基本上是:外出就餐、家庭活动。
