1）学生了解12个月的名称。
2）能用英语说自己的生日及家人、亲人等的生日。
3.情感目标：通过活动教育学生关心家人及朋友。
4.学习策略：
1）培养学生学习的自信心，激发学生积极思维。
2）通过小组活动，培养学生的合作能力。
3）在任务中引导学生积极运用所学的英语进行交流和表达。
二、教学重点和难点
1. 学生掌握12个月的名称。
2. 学生能用英语问答生日。
3. 综合运用新旧知识进行交流。
教学准备：Tape、pictures、cards.
三、教学过程
Warming-up (5 mins)
1. Greeting.
2. Sing a song: Months and Seasons
3. Free talk.
Presentation (10 mins)
1. T: How many months are there in a year?
2. Teach “months” Ss read.
3. T: Today we’ll learn Unit 1 “Months of a Year”.
4. T shows a calendar and ask: What’s this?
5. T teach the months, Ss read and learn.
Practice (15mins)
1. Game: “Response Quickly.”
2. T: June Ss say May or July.
3. Guess
T shows the PPT Ss look and say.
4. T shows the PPT(a dialogue).
