一、教学目标

（一）知识

1．掌握四会单词taller, stronger, older, younger, shorter

2．熟练掌握描述自己和他人身高的句型：I’m _____ cm tall. / She’s _____ cm tall.

（二）能力

能够用句型 “You’re taller than your brother. I’m older than you.”进行年龄和身高的比较，并能根据某一情景使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。

（三）情感

多多关注身边的人，提高观察和分析比较的能力；个子的高矮并不重要，关键是要加强体育锻炼，增强体质。

二、教学重点

1．能够听说读写A Let’s learn部分五个形容词的比较级形式；

2．能根据某一情景使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换关键词进行问答。

三、教学难点

长度单位 “centimeter”的发音是本课时的教学难点。

四、教学媒体

教学图片、动画课件。

五、教学过程

1．动画导入，呈现新课

（1）教师展示郑女士的图片，说：Miss Zheng is 158 cm tall. She say：“

I’m 158cm tall.”cm = centimeter教师板书并领读centimeter。

教师展示姚明的图片，说：Yao Ming is very tall. He is 226 cm tall. He is taller than Miss Zheng .Miss Zheng is shorter than Yao Ming.

（2）教师对比乌龟和猫的图片说：The tortoise is older than the cat.The cat is younger than the tortoise.

教师对比乌龟和猫的图片说：Panghu is stronger than Daxiong. Daxiong is thinner than Panghu.

（3）Let’s chant:

Short shorter shorter shorter

Tall taller taller taller

Young younger younger younger

Old older older older

Thin thinner thinner thinner

Strong stronger stronger stronger

Short! Tall! Young! Old!

Thin! Strong!

（4）用taller,older,stronger…谈论课件图片。
