Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains.

1.学会谈论和复述传说故事。

2.掌握连词()unless,as soon as以及sothat结构的用法。

本单元重点是神话故事或传说,因此可以多采用音乐、动画片、戏剧等形式来辅助教学,形成活跃的教学气氛,调动学生的积极性。

在听力教学部分,通过展开听力训练和指导学生进行Pair work对话练习的形式,提升学生的听说水平,提升学生对于戏剧体裁的文章的阅读能力。

最后对本单元的单词、短语和语法进行全面的复习,考查学生对知识的掌握情况。改编童话并进行表演的活动能够极大地调动学生的积极性,发挥学生的主观能动性,同时巩固了单元语言要点。

  1.美猴王(The Monkey King)

“美猴王”讲述了在花果山上,猴群正在紧张地和混世魔王战斗。一块在花果山上孕育多年的仙石突然崩裂,从里面诞生出一只石猴来。在老猴王的循循善诱下,石猴由被猴群排挤直至拥护为猴王。为了更好地保护花果山,在大家的劝解下,小石猴决定出海学艺。石猴来到了灵台方寸山向菩提祖师学艺。他不但学有所成,还交到了红孩儿、玉兔、人参果等新朋友,另外也拥有了自己的名字——孙悟空。

2.安徒生(Hans Christian Andersen,1805-1875)

汉斯·克里斯蒂安·安徒生,丹麦19世纪著名的童话作家,既是世界文学童话的代表人物之一,也是个虔诚的基督教徒,被誉为“世界儿童文学的太阳”。他最著名的童话故事有《海的女儿》、《拇指姑娘》、《卖火柴的小女孩》、《丑小鸭》、《皇帝的新装》等。安徒生给全欧洲的一代孩子带来了欢乐。他的作品《安徒生童话》已经被译为150多种语言,成千上万册童话书在全球陆续发行和出版。

3.格林兄弟(The Brothers Grimm)和《格林童话》(Grimm’s Fairy Tales)

格林兄弟是指雅各布·格林(1785-1863)和威廉·格林(1786-1859)兄弟两人,他们是德国19世纪著名的童话搜集家、语言文化研究者。两人因兴趣相近,经历相似,合作研究语言学、搜集和整理民间童话与传说,出版了世界著名的童话集《格林童话》。

4.《韩赛尔与格蕾特》(Hansel and Gretel)

也可以翻译为《糖果屋》、《糖果屋历险记》,原是德国童话,被格林兄弟收录在《格林童话》中。讲述一对兄妹被抛弃在大森林中,迷路的他们来到了女巫的糖果屋,被抓并差点被吃掉,但他们凭借机智与勇气,最终脱离魔掌。

2.提高听说能力。

1.熟记短语和相关词汇。

本课教学内容是八年级下Unit 6 第一课时,通过生动形象的图画、flash动画和声音多媒体等引出本单元话题,调动学生的积极性,然后让学生进行一系列听说活动,营造良好的语言学习情境,继而提高他们的听说能力。

播放动画片《愚公移山》的视频,导入本单元主题。

T:What’s the name of the story?

S1:It’s Yu Gong moves a mountain.

S2:It’s a traditional Chinese story.

T:Do you know other traditional Chinese stories?

S1:Ne Zha Conquers the Dragon King.

S2:Magic Brush Ma Lian.

S3:Chang’e Flies to the Moon.

T:Very good.As we know,China has five thousand years of civilization.And the old tales are a part of Chinese culture.

T:Hello,boys and girls! Do you like listening to or telling stories? Have you ever heard of these stories? Look at the pictures carefully and name them in Chinese as quickly as you can.

T:Yes.They are Chang’e Flies to the Moon,Waiting for a Hare to Turn up and Journey to the West.Do you know other traditional Chinese stories?Now let’s come to 1a.

Hou Yi Shoots the Suns 

shoot 意思是“射中;发射”。过去式及过去分词都是shot

He shot a bird.他射中了一只鸟。

【辨析】 kill,shoot,murder

(1) kill意为“杀,杀死”,宾语可以是表示人的名词或代词,也可以是表示物的名词或代词。

The cat killed a mouse last night.

昨晚这只猫咬死了一只老鼠。

(2) shoot意为“射中,击毙”,表示以某人或某物为目标进行射击。 shoot at 表示“瞄准一个目标射击但不一定射中”。

John shot at the hare,but it ran away.

约翰瞄准兔子射击,但兔子跑掉了。

(3) murder意为“谋杀”,它的宾语一般是表示人的名词或代词,通常指事先有策划地非法杀害。

He murdered his friend for money last night.昨晚他为谋财而杀害了他的朋友。
