SincestudyingBusinessatGCSElevelandEconomicsatASlevel,Ihavedevelopedaninterestintheroleoffinancewithinbusinesses.Alongsidemystudiesatschool,Ihavealsotakeninspirationfrommyinvolvementinmyfather'spart-timebusiness.Ihavehelpeddealwithsomefinancialaspectsofthisbusiness,includingbankingandcompletingannualaccounts,fromwhichIhavedevelopedseveralskillsinworkingwithfiguresandtheabilitytoaccuratelyhandle,organiseandanalyseinformation.Fromthisexperience,Iamintriguedtolearnmoreaboutfinanceandaccounting.

Currently,IamstudyingAlevelsinPsychology,GeographyandEnglishLiterature.IchosenottocontinueEconomicstoA2levelasthespecificaspectsofmyothercoursesweremuchmorerelevanttomypersonalinterests.EachofthesesubjectshasgivenmevaluableknowledgeandunderstandingwhichIcanapplytomanyothergeneralareas.StudyingPsychologyhasgivenmeaninsightintob

ehavioursandattitudesineverydayinvolvementwithpeople,bothrelativesandfriendsaswellaswithinsocietyingeneral.ThehumanaspectsofmyGeographycoursehaveprovidedmewiththeabilitytobetterunderstandimportantissuesonaglobalscale.InstudyingliteratureIhavelearnttocommunicateideasmoreclearlyandconfidently,bothinspeechandinwriting.

Outsideofschool,Ienjoyreadingbothfictionbooks,mostlyclassicnovels,mysteries,sciencefictionandfantasy,andnon-fictiontexts,generallyincludinginformationaboutnaturalhistoryandtheeconomy.IreadeverydayasthisissomethingthatIfindbeneficialtoimprovemygeneralknowledgeandprovidesmewithanopportunitytospendsometimeonmyown.Inadditiontothis,Ihaveanenthusiasmforcomputing.Iamfamiliarwithusingspreadsheets,wordprocessorsandcreativesoftwareandIamalsolearningaspectsofwebdesign.InrecentyearsIhavelearntskillsfrommybrother,whoisacomputerprogrammer,andIamalwayseagertoteachmyselfnewthings.

Asanindividual,IhavealwaysaspiredtohighereducationatuniversityasIhaveapositiveandcommittedattitudetolearningnewthings.Theideaofmovingonfromschoollifeandtakingonthechallengeofadegreecourseprovidesmewithmotivationanddeterminationtosucceed.Fromstudyingatuniversity,Iinte
