At present,as all we know,with the development of economy and technology,the environmental problems that the world faces become progressively worse.It is deforestation that is the most serious problem in my hometown.In order to gain more land to boost industrial production that is the key to economic growth,residents cut down vast forests.Green area
is rapidly falling off while the quantity of chemical pollutants is increasing exponentially and that is why haze occurs.
When I went to senior school,our school often organized students to plant trees.Once,as a volunteer,I swept the road actively.In daily life,I realize that plastic bag will cause environmental pollution,so I do my best to replace plastic bag with hop-pocket.
As far as I am concerned,protecting environment means to protect the world which is the home we depend on.I think the government should insist on sustainable development and lead citizens to explore and use the renewable resource.In addition,as a sole,we should attach importance to ecological environment.Last but not least,we should be used to taking the bicycle instead of the car.Only when we protect the environment can we get a better home.
