The results showed that the vegetation cover of Chuxiong City was most-ly covered by high vegetation coverage, accounting for 54.03%, 52.76%, 54.72%, 54.66%, and78.14% respectively in 2002, 2005, 2009, 2013, and 2016, followed by medium vegetation cover-age, medium and low vegetation coverage, low vegetation coverage and barren vegetation cover-age.
