I love to keep a dog（A dog A friend）
I always want to have a dog as a pet, and I often dream of（梦想着） having a dog. However, my mother doesn't like keeping a dog at home because she is very busy.
Since ancient times（自古以来）, dogs have been human beings’ best friends. They protected us from being hurt from fierce（凶残的） animals and looked after our houses so that thieves couldn’t steal our belongings and properties（工具）. Nowadays many people keep a dog as a pet. We play with them to have fun, and we treat them as our family members.
From my perspective（观点），dogs are brave and loyal（忠诚的）. They can even give their lives to save their owners’ lives. They are so clever that they can understand what people say and act according to people's instructions.
If I have a dog, it's necessary to walk it every day. I can walk it or even run with it in a park, which will help me to keep healthy. If I have a dog, I will do more outdoor activities（户外活动）to improve my PE performance.
