Video games have become very popular in recent years. Wherever you go you can always see youngsters and even adults indulged in the games. When they play the games in clubs, stores, or at homes, they concentrate all their attention on them, with their hands moving busily. Obviously video games give them great pleasure and excitement.
Video games are a wonderful kind of entertainment. They bring great pleasures to young people, train them to respond quickly and stimulate their imagination and interest in electronics and computer science. In short, video games play a beneficial role in the development of youngsters’ intelligence.
Just as a coin has two sides, video games also have some disadvantages. Some young people, especially school children, spend too much time playing them, which harms to their health and eyes and affects their school achievements. Only if one has enough self-control can he benefit from video games.
How to achieve Success

Some people say the key to success is the luck, while others claim it is hard work. As far as I am concerned, there are many factors contributing to success and the three fundamental ones are diligence, devotion and perseverance.
Diligence is the first key factor to success. Diligence helps us remove ignorance, overcome difficulties, and enlighten our minds. It makes a fool wise, and a poor man rich. Devotion is another factor to success. Whatever we do, we must love it and do it whole-heartedly. Only when we set our minds on the job, can we do it well. Furthermore, perseverance, or a strong will, is the last key to success. Without a strong will, we are likely to give up when we meet some difficulties, let alone perform wonderful deeds.
To conclude, all great men achieve success through diligence, devotion and perseverance. Just as the famous saying goes, "No pains, no gains", "Where there is a will, there is a way."
Styles of living（自己住还是和父母住）

Nowaday, there's a tendency that people perfer to live alone by himself or herself instead of living with parents .Which has generated a heated debate among people with regarding to this phenomenon.
On one hand,some people say that it is a good way to live with parents because whenever they are upset they have their parents to talk to .Moreover, they parents can do everything they don't like to do for them which suit them the most. However, on the other hand, some argue that it is bad to live with parents . As you living with you parents, you'll never want to strick yourself out and learn to be indenpent. What's more, living by themselves, they can do whatever they like without being criticized by their parents.
From my perspective, I tend to perfer living alone. Because it is vitally important for us to learn to be indenpent as to adapt the fierce competion in our society .
Private schools

More and more private schools are being set up in China these days， ending the state monopoly of the country's educational system. Although private schools are still on the experimental stage and are much more expensive as compared with public schools， there is no lack of application for enrollment.
People welcome private schools for good reasons. First of all， those schools are relieving our government of part of the burdens of financing so many schools. Secondly， parents are willing to send their only child to better schools even if they costs more. And having more money than the government-funded public schools， those private schools can attract better teachers. They can also offer better environments including superior living facilities and more advanced teaching equipment.
However， adequate money doesn't guarantee good education. If not well guided and properly disciplined， the privileged young children might turn out to be new aristocrats， and therefore unfit for our highly competitive modern society.
Geting to know the world outsidethe campus

College students must know the outside world. Today's world is changing very fast. Knowledge learned from textbooks is perhaps a decade old. Learning knowledge is one thing and knowing how to use it is another. Getting to know the outside world is the first step to know how to put knowledge into real use.
There are many ways to know the outside world. Newspapers and televisions tell us what 's happening now around the world. The Internet offers us an easy access to the current world affairs. Doing a part-time job in the society provides a direct and real experience of the the world outside campus.
Therefore I should constantly keep myself informed about the outside world and grasp every opportunity to participate in social services and accumulate knowledge and experence at the same time.

The bicycle is the most popular means of transportation in China. China is a country“on bicycle wheels”。People ride them for various purposes such as going to and from school and work. Bicycles are very cheap and easy to buy in China.
There are many advantages to riding a bicycle. First，using a bicycle can greatly help reduce the air pollution in many big cities. Second，people can improve their health by riding a bicycle.
The future of bicycle will be bright. In some European countries，city governments have arranged pedestrians to use“public bicycles”to travel round the city center free of charge.

Some people like living in the city because city life has many advantages. They think there are more job opportunities in cities， life there is more colorful and meaningful than that in the country， and there are more modern conveniences in cities for people to enjoy.
But some other people prefer to live in the countryside. They say life in the countryside is closer to nature and better for their health， life there is quieter and that country people are more honest than city people.
I would like to live in a city when I am young to earn enough money and I live in the countryside when I am old for having a quite life.
On Keeping Petst

Nowadays, alomost every family has a dog or a cat as a pet. petst are our friends. they are cute and they are fun. we need to feed and clean pets; we can learn to take responsibilities when we have pets. for older people, pets are very important. pets stay with them and make them no longer lonely. sometimes pets can even save people's lives.
But,keeping a pet will also bring us quite a lot trouble. For example,most pets are very dirty and they have a lot of diseases with them which will make us ill.Sometimes a dog will bite someone who may just want to touch it to express his friendship.In this way pets will also make people unhappy!
In my opinion, keeping petst is of benefit to both the society and the individual, especially to the elderly. But one thing we have to notice is that we should keep the petst under control, and don't disturb others, only in this way can we firmly support keeping petst.

Most of people choose a career wrong. They are so focused on how many of the salary Ignore your interest in the job and the development of the future.
To make an advisable choice, a graduate should take into account at least two aspects, namely, individual’ interest and the demand of the society. Only when the two aspects are connected, can a man show his ability and talent to the best advantage. If the two factors conflict, the former, in most cases, should give way to the latter, for it is interests that stimulate one’s vigor and potential.

Fake and poor quality commodities are a serious problem. Many things can be faked such as soybean sauce，vinegar，bicycles，and many other things. The interests of consumers are affected，and many enterprises keep losing money because of cheap fake commodities.
There are some reasons for such a phenomenon. The major one is the desire of some people to“make easy money”。These people think nothing of the law of the protection of intellectual property rights.
To get rid of fake and poor quality commodities，the government should educate people to obey the law of the protection of individual intellectual property rights and not to sell any fake goods. The government should punish severely and close down all the factories producing fake goods.
