Advantages and Disadvantages of Internet
As the internet developing with a growing pace, teenagers are a huge group which are most influenced. So here I’d like to mainly state some advantages and disadvantages of internet about this group.
Since the internet is a symbol of this age, it must plays an important role in improving our lives.
Internet gives some original ways of ideological education to teenagers. Educators could communicate with them as an internet buddy. Which can ease contradictions in time and have a effect of warming their heart. So it is more convenient for educators to doing their jobs better.
Internet offers new channels for teenagers to obtain knowledge. In the situation where our country is short of resources of education, various online advanced courses meet with many students’ needs greatly.
Internet broadens teenagers’ horizon and improves teenagers’ comprehensive qualities. Internet broadens their vision political field and category of knowledge, which forms their global awareness.
We all know, as a both-sides sword, internet also has its shortcomings.
Internet makes teenagers contact every kinds of thought easily. Some of them may lead teenagers to be anti-community or epicurean or fawning on foreign countries.
Internet changes teenagers’ way of getting on with others. They will bend to be more individualistic and far away from real life.
Internet increases the possibility of teenagers’ crime. There’re too much information about violence, sex etc online. They’re harmful to teenagers’ both physical and psychological health.
Considering the advantages and disadvantages of internet, we must have a right attitude towards it. Don’t reject it and use it appropriately.
