名词所有格 1.名词的所有格表示名词的所有关系。由名词后加's或'构成，多用于有生命的人。 a. 当名词不是s结尾时，用’s 例如：Lucy’s hair，my mother’s bag， Mary's boyfriend. b. 当名词是s结尾时，用’，students’ reading–room 学生们的阅览室workers’ club 工人俱乐部注意：Women’s Day 妇女节 Children’s Day 儿童节 Teachers’ Day 教师节c. 复合名词和由几个词组成的名词的所有格往往在最后一个名词的后面加上'S。例如：my brother-in-law's photo 我姐（妹）夫的照片。the commander-in-chief's report总司令的报告。Henry the Eighth's wives亨利八世的妻子。
d. 若一样东西为两人共有，后一个人名加's；如果是各有各的，则两个名词都加's，且其后名词为复数。例如：Lily and Lucy's mother, e. 用于地理、国家机关、城市等名词，例如：Beijing's future, the f. 用于时间、价值、距离、重量等名词， 例如：today's newspaper, ten dollars' worth, five miles' distance, twenty pounds' weight. g. 表示诊所、店铺或某人的家等地点名词，其名词所有格后的被修饰语常常省略。例如： I met her at the doctor's（office）．我在诊所遇见了她。He has gone to the tailor's（shop）．他到服装店去了。

's所有格、of所有格和双重所有格三者之间的细微区别1．She is Mary's brother's friend．2．She is a friend of Mary's brother．3．She is a friend of Mary's brother's． 1句用的是's所有格，侧重说明她和Mary的哥哥是朋友关系，突出friend一词。
