Unit 6 I’m watching TV 片段教学
At beginning of this class, let’s review some words we have learned last time.
OK,I hope all of you can spell these words now. Well, I have a question.
What are we doing?
Marry, answer my question please.
We are having an English class now.
That’s right. But pay attention, it’s having an English class, but not having a English class. Anyway, you’re pretty good, sit down please!
Grammar:
Well, last time we have learned the Present Progressive Tense. When you are doing Sth. ,if someone ask you: “What are you doing?” I’m doing Sth.
But if he ask you what is he doing? You should say: He is doing Sth.
singing→taking→running
And we have learned how to change a verb to a present participle, last time. Now, who can tell me what is the principle. You can speak in Chinese.Jack, answer my question please!Yes, you get it. For most students, we just need to add ing to the end of the word, but if some words, the last letter is E, and this E is not pronounced, we should take the E out, then add ing to the end. For some special words, we should double the last letter, then add ing to the end.
Now, let's do some excises to check if you get the way to change a verb to a present participle. Please turn to page 77, do the excise 3B.OK, Marry, tell us your answer please! OK, let’s check the answer.
Game:
Now, it’s funny time! I need two Sts, one does some actions, and another guesses what he is doing. I will ask you :What is he/she doing? And you need write the answer on the blackboard.
Jack and Rose John and Maggie
