O: Could you please tell me where Mr. Wilson is from?

G: He is from American.

O: Hold on, please! I’ll get you through.

Dialog 2

GRoom 2110 Please.

O: May I have the guest’s name, please?

G: Mr. Wilson.

O: Could you please tell me how to spell the name, please. (If you cannot hear clearly or you can’t find Wilson in Room 2110).

G: W I L S O N, Wilson.

O: Thank you, just hold the line please, I’ll transfer you to his room.

Dialog 3:

G: My flight is 14:30, so I have to take the 13:00 one.

Dialog 1

G: Good morning. This is Wilson calling from 2110. Would you mind giving me some information on your services?

C: Certainly not, Mr. Wilson. We have comprehensive communication facilities and secretarial assistance catering to the needs of all our business guests.

G: I have some documents to be typed at the moment and I hope they will be ready before 3:00 PM today.

C: How many pages are there in all?

G: There will be about 20 pages.

C: Well, we’ll try our best, Mr. Wilson.

G: Good. I’d really appreciate it if it could be arranged.

Dialog 2

Mr. Wilson is expecting an incoming fax from a client. He asks the Business Center for the information.

C: Good morning, sir. May I help you?

G: Good morning. I’m Wilson in room 2110; I’m expecting a fax from my client in Shanghai.

C: Just a moment, Mr. Wilson. Let me have a check. May I know your client’s name?

G: Yes. The name is Shanghai International Training Center.

C: Oh, I am sorry. I am afraid we haven’t got it up to now.

G: But I was told they would fax it to me this morning.

C: Don’t worry, Mr. Wilson. As soon as we get it, we’ll inform you immediately.

G: I see.

Dialog 2:

G: I don’t understand why nobody came to clean up my room.

RACertainly. But what is your electrical equipment volt?
