Notice
In order to have a better understanding of our school, an outstanding English short movie about our school will be shown in the library from 2:30 to 4:00 in the afternoon on June 9th. It is organized by the Student Union. Here are some relevant details about it.
To begin with, the name of the movie is Growing Together, which is about the development of our beloved school. As we all expect, it will be not only meaningful but also interesting. During traveling, one can meet various people, make new friends and experience various lifestyles of different places.

Almost everyone has their own favorite place to travel because of specific reasons.
由于具体的一些原因，基本上每个人都有他想要去旅游的地方。
Such as the people, climate or scenery of that place, the influence of friends or some beautiful memories and so on.

Nowadays, people do not have to think much about transportation.

People can travel by car or driving themselves to near places, or by train, plane to far places.

About Reading
At present, only a few students read after class.

Here are several reasons:

First, some students are so busy that they don't have time to do reading due to teachers leaving them too much homework.
首先，很多学生太忙了，因为老师布置给他们很多作业，所以没时间阅读。
Second, some students are not likely to read at all. Because they spend too much time in watching TV, searching the Internet and playing games.
第二，很多学生并不喜欢阅读，他们花费太多时间看电视、上网和玩游戏了。
Finally, as the whole society do not attach importance to reading, parents do not urge students to read.
第三，整个社会对阅读没给予很大的重视，所以父母并不督促孩子读书。
I feel it's a pity that students do not read as much as before since books are the main resource of knowledge.
我觉得很遗憾，学生不像从前那么爱阅读了，然而书是知识的源泉，
Books also can take us to where we can't really go, can help us experience the things we can't really see.
书籍可以带我们去从没去过的地方，带我们感受从未见过的事物。
In addition, when you feel upset or irritable, reading is a good way to comfort yourself or make you calm down.
另外，当你心绪不宁，急躁不安时，阅读是是你舒适平静的好方法。
I suggest that no matter how busy you are, you should spend some time in reading.
我建议大家，不管你有多忙，多花时间阅读。

Should We Help Others in Need?
Helping others has always been a virtue in traditional Chinese culture.
乐于助人在中国传统文化中一直是一种美德。
But what’s strange nowadays is that people dare not show their helping hands to those in need. I would like to elaborate my views on this issue.
可是很奇怪的是，现在的人都不敢伸出援手去帮助那些需要帮助的人。
Firstly, I think people’s moral sense has degraded. When egoism gains the upper hand, many people find it growingly hard to help others.
首先，我认为人们的道德意识已经退化。当利己主义获得了上风，许多人觉得越来越难去帮助别人。
Secondly, there is no denying that some tragic events turn out to be traps by people with evil intentions.
其次，毫无疑问一些不幸的事件结果证明是有着不良目的的陷阱。
So common people are becoming more risk-conscious and are more wary of traps and deceits.
因此，老百姓变得越来越有危机意识而陷阱和骗局也变得越来越谨慎。
In general, I contend the idea that we should be warm-hearted and offer help as well as lookout for potential hazards so as not to be deceived.
总的来说，我主张应该热心肠，我认为我们应该热心提供帮助同时也留心潜在危险，以免被骗。
