Good morning, everybody. Today I am very glad to be here to introduce an amazing city for you .Wuhu. From the map we can see, It is close to Nanjing and Shanghai. It just takes you 6 or 7 hours from Shanghai by train.
It is Located in the southeast of Anhui Province, and situated where the Qingyi Jiang flows into the Yangtze River.
It has a long history more than 2,000 years. During the Zhou Dynasty it was known by the name of Jiuzi ; and it isn’t called “Wuhu” until the Han Dynasty .Wuhu covers an area of 5988 square kilometers, and It has approximately 4 million residents.
First, I want to talk about some delicious food in wuhu. Gengfuxing is one of the traditional and famous restaurants. It is famous for soup dumplings and Shrimp noodles. If you want to have some snacks, Chinese chestnut, Malatang and shazi seed are worth trying.
Wuhu has a range of hotels. If it is allowed, that is to say, you have much money, you can choose the five-star hotel Crowne Plaza Wuhu Hotel or the four-star hotel Conch International Hotel. Of course, there are many express hotels like Hanting Inns & Hotels and Home Inn here. They are relatively inexpensive and suitable for someone whose pockets are almost empty.
As to scenic spots, you must to go to Fantawild adventure and Fantawild dreamland. It is a theme park which is named for Eastern Disney. Especially an entertainment project called shuimanjinshan is very interesting. The price of one ticket is 200 yuan. Jiuzi square is another famous spot. The night scenery there is very fantastic . If you want to enjoy the campus atmosphere , you can visit the anhui normal university. Look at the pictures. class room. dormitory. teaching building. You must be very familiar with them because each school has these places..
The next part is attractive especially for girls. Shopping .Zhongshan Road walking street is top of the list . There are many shopping malls such as Huayi and Xinbai where you can easily find anything you want to buy.
Finally, I want to say, the transportation is very convenient in Wuhu. Bus or taxi .Both of them are ok. And you will find the fare is much cheaper than Shanghai. Sometimes you can even walk to your destination. The people in Wuhu are very nice to guide you if you get lost.
Wuhu is a wonderful city. Whatever your purpose are, you can always find something you like here.
