2、能结合具体情境理解正数和负数的含义，并正确读、写正数和负数。3、知道0既不是正数也不是负数，正数都大于0，负数都小于0。4、进一步体验数学与日常生活的密切联系，感受数学中的符号化思想，激发学生学习数学的兴趣。

一、初步感知，明确背景：1、出示几组数据：
打卡游戏篮球比赛个人储蓄家庭月收支
赢20张胜6场存入1000元收入5130元
输13张负3场取出200元支出3019元
多媒体课件、一张白纸、一个信封、温度计
提问：观察每组数据中的两种量有什么样的关系？板书：具有相反意义的两种量
2、揭示课题：生活中有很多类似这样的情况存在。今天这节课，我们就来研究它们。
二、探究新知、揭示概念：1、自主探究：
提问：如何用更为简洁的语言来描述这些具有相反意义的两种量呢？小组讨论交流，指名回答。
结合学生的回答，介绍正号和负号的写法。
注意及时追问：每组正数和负数是否可以表示实际意义？引导学生体会正、负号的形式和内容的联系。

说明：摄氏度℃和华氏度℉都是计量温度的单位，包括我国在内的很多国家通常使用摄氏度计量温度，而美国等一些使用英语的国家则使用华氏度计量温度。
（2）提问：从图中你能看出各个城市某一天的最低气温吗？要求学生尝试练习，写出各个城市某一天的最低气温。（3）反馈矫正：
指名板演，引导学生将三个温度计放在一起进行比较，分析错误原因。提问：怎样看温度计？
强调：先看0摄氏度，0摄氏度以上是零上温度，0摄氏度以下就是零下温度。零上温度可以用正数来表示，零下温度可以用负数来表示。板书：南京的温度写作：0℃
三亚的温度记作：20℃（+20℃）哈尔滨的温度记作：-20℃2、教学例2：
（1）情境过渡：介绍气候状况与地形特点、海拔高度等有关。（2）出示例2图：介绍“海拔高度”的含义：海拔高度是指某地与海平面比较，得到的相对高度。（3）提问：从图中你知道了什么？
可以用正数和负数来表示这两个海拔高度吗？为什么？
怎样表示呢？
（4）要求学生尝试练习，指名板演，反馈矫正。
强调：以海平面为基准，就是把海平面看做是0米，比海平面高8844米，可以记作：+8844米；比海平面低155米，可以记作：-155米
