I have a dream

The memory of the wonderful time I spent in my home town crowds into my mind from time to time. Everything I experienced on those days seems so healthy and clean — the sun came down through millions of leaves glossy with rain on the mountains,making everything looked vigorous; the sharp, clear notes of the birds that resounded in the yard; the crystal-clear river with many fish in it;even the rich, loamy smell of the dirt itself.

But now it isn’t.

With the development of industry,the hills with a broad rich mass of grass and trees now become bare,leaving nothing but a desolate land;the fresh air that can refresh ourself now are polluted by poisonous gas that numerous car release,making people sick;the pure water in the river now are pulluted by factories,causing it filty and little fish is left.

The story is similar in the whole world.Although the constant development of economy and industry does makes our life easier,richer and cosier,the damage to the environment we have done is great.The trees are no longer thick on the ground,the sky is no longer blue,the water is no longer glittering.

If we are still unaware of the deterioration of the environment,we are doomed to lose our home one day.

Now is the time to stop those who ruin forests out of their profit.

Now is the time to stop the factories from pouring polluted water into the river and the sea.

Now it is time to stop leaving garbage everywhere.

It would be fatal for the world to overlook the urgency of the environment. Suitable measures should be adopted at once otherwise there wil be no fresh air to breath,no clear water to drink,no unpolluted land to plant.

I have a dream that all desolate deserts become vibrant oasis and sandstorm will never blur our eyes any more.

I have a dream that every river becomes crystal clear again,with fish freely enjoying cheerful in it.

I have a dream that the sky becomes bule again,such as washing,smoke will not billow in the sky any more.

I have a dream that garbage will not pilled up in every corner of the city,kids are able to enjoy themselves on the lawn.

I have a dream today.

With combined effort,I am convinced that the dream will come true one day, a better planet will be seen sooner or later.
