1. one 用作替代词.
One可以用作代词, 代替前面已经出现过的单数可数名词, 以避免重复. 在没有定语修饰的情况下, one不带冠词, 如果有定语, one就要有冠词. 例如:
(1) You can get one.
你可以得到一个.
(2) “ Which one?” “The one under the tree.”
“哪一个?” “树下面的那个.”
代替复数名词时, 一般用ones 或those. 例如:
She likes the red bags, but I like the green ones.
她喜欢红色的书包, 但是我喜欢绿色的.
2. sell 和 buy
sell是 “卖” buy是 “买”
He sells cakes.
他卖蛋糕.
I want to buy some apples.
我想买一些苹果.
3. How much….? 多少钱?
How much is this bike?
Three hundred and sixteen yuan.
这本书多少钱?
三百一十六元.
注意, 百位数与十位数之间要用and连接.
How much还可以与不可数名词连用, how many与可数名词的复数形式连用, 以表示数量.
4. cheap 和dear
这两个词都是形容词, cheap 表示 “便宜”, dear的意思是 “贵的”, 两个词在意思上互为相反. 例如:
This book is too dear, that one is cheap.
这本书太贵了, 那本便宜.
5. half
英语中的 “一半”是a half, 但如果要表示 “一半的…”, 也就是说如果后面要接一个名词的时候, 则多用half a +名词, 例如:
half a day/week/year
半天/半个星期/半年
6. go shopping 去买东西
这里的shopping是动词shop的-ing形式, go + 动词的-ing形式表示去做某事.例如:
go swimming 去游泳

8. I want to buy some good food for supper this evening.

this evening是 “今晚” 的意思. this 可以用来指当前的单位时间, that可以用来指已过去的单位时间. 用this, that修饰时间名词时, 前面不能再用介词in或on, 例如:
this/that morning 今天/那天早上
this/that year 今年/那一年
this/that time 这一次/那一次

这是一个否定疑问句, 其构成方式是把助动词(情态动词或be动词)与not一起放在主语前, 并用缩写形式, 不能分开写. 否定疑问句主要用来表示说话人的怀疑, 惊奇等感情, 例如:
(1) Aren’t you Tom?
你不是汤姆吗?
(2) Can\'t you see it?
你看不见吗?

From可以表示从某地方, 某时间或从某人处.
(1) He can get it from the library.
