Section A.

教材内容分析:

本课是unit 7的第一课时,本单元围绕描述人物外貌特征的话题以及人们的着装特点展开活动。这一课时着重介绍新语言目标

What does he/she look like ? He/she is has…… 让学生学习怎样用英语来描述人的外貌特征,该内容接近学生生活,为学生所熟悉,容易引起学生学习兴趣,能促进学生自主学习,探究学习,为后面的课时学习打下铺垫。

教案目标:

知识目标:

1.单词和词组:long/short/curly/straight/brown/blonde hair, look like , tall/short ,thin/heavy, medium height/ build ,the captain of ,basketball team ,tell jokes, a little bit ,never ,stop to do sth /stop doing sth ,popular .

2.句型:

What does he /she look like ?

He /She is /has …

能力目标:

着重培养学生听、说、写能力,能促使学生正确运用英语描述人物外貌特征,能在实际情景中运用所学语言描述人物。

情感目标:

通过对身边人物的描述,培养学生对父母、亲戚、老师或朋友的喜爱之情,教育学生团结友爱,与朋友融洽相处,培养学生学习英语的自信心。

教案重点:

本课的新单词及句型what does he/she look like ?

难点: is/has的选用,

教具: 录音机、磁带、图画(某些演员、运动员等)

教案过程:

(一)warming up

1.Greetings :

2.Let students play a game . I have a bag here .I have many things in it. Guess what I have in the bag ? You can ask “Do you have a book in the bag ?” Is it new or old ?Let| students see which group will win the game .以猜 游戏的形式,让学生较快地进入学习的氛围。

(二presentation.

1.叫上班上个子最高的学生及个子小的学生及中等身材的学生.

T: A has short hair .B has long straight hair ,C has curly hair .

A is tall .B is short .C is not very tall or very short .He is medium height .

A is thin ,B is heavy .C is medium build.

借助学生反复练习以上句子及单词,让学生明白新单词及句型意思。

2Look! I have long straight hair. I‘m medium height. I‘m medium build . what do you look like? Can you say something about yourself ? 单词与句型结合放到语境中练习。

3. T: One of the pepole in the picture is your friend .Ask and answer and then find him/her .

What does your friend look like ?

Let S s practice in pairs and match the words with the people in the pieture. Finish 1a .

{}教案反思。本课时主要讨论学生如何用自己的语言描述人的外貌特征,人们的穿着特点,内容贴近学生生活。和他们的生活有着很大的关系,再让他们用所学语言来描绘自己身边的亲人和朋友,所他们非常感兴趣。课堂气氛比较活跃,学生的描述也生动具体。不足之处个别学生词汇贫乏,不会创新,句子出现个别语法错误。有待进一步提高!

1. 如何询问别人的外貌,

1)询问某人的外貌特征常用句型

当询问某人长什么样子时,常用疑问代词what 引导的特殊疑问句,问句中常用look like 表示长……样子,第三人称单数或单数名词作主语时,应用does 作助动词,其他人称或复数名词应用do 作助动词,回答时常用be 动词或动词have “be + 形容词常用来描述人在体貌上的特征,而“ have + 名词句型常用来说明人“ 具有……特征,有……” 表示某一部位的大小,颜色等。

具体句型: what do/does……look like ?

He/she is /has…

例如: what do the twins look like ?

They have short hair.

What does your brother look like ?

He is really tall.

(2) 描述外貌常用的形容词

1 描述身高 tall (高的)short ( 矮的) medium (中等的)

2. 描述体型 thin (瘦的) fat (胖的) heary (重的) medium

(中等的)

3 描述头发 short (短的) long (长的) straight (直的)

Curly (弯曲的)

4 描述颜色 blonde (金黄色的) broun(棕色的) black(黑色

的) gray(灰白色的)

2. 归纳卡片,友情链接。

1 .stop doing sth /stop to do sth

前者表示停止做某事,后者表示停下(原来做的事)去做

另一件事.

例如:when the bell rang the students stopped talking.

He felt tired and stopped the work to have a rest.

2 remember to do sth/ remember doing sth

前者表示记得要去做某事 后者表示记得曾经做过某事

3 put on /wear

Put on 穿、戴 反义词组是 take off

Wear 穿着 指状态,可以用进行时,宾语可以是衣帽或首

饰、眼镜、发型等。

教案过程

一.检查预习情况,核对答案,同时完成1a and 1b

二.利用多种人物和图片,以及学生身边所熟悉的人,继续学

习人的外貌特征的单词和短语。

三.利用明星运动员图片复习、讲解句型,导入新课。

四.听力练习,完成2a and 2b 而且根据描述你喜欢的音乐家或

演员,让其他学生猜出他是谁。

五.Reading

Johnny Dean`s New look ! 找出before and now 的不同,说

why do you like him/ why don`t like him? Finish 3a

六.Homework

根据表格提示内容,写一份寻人启事,或者介绍一下你的家庭。

解读:本题考查短语的用法, hear from 意为“收到某人的来信”,

go over 意为“复习” laugh at 意为“嘲笑”,look like 意为“看

起来像……” 由句意可知应用 laught at … 故选C

教案反思:

本课时是在上课时的基础上继续学习描述人物外貌特征的句型,学

生们通过上节课的学习,已经掌握了句型结构,再加上反复练习对

人物的描写已不再陌生。描述的人物是自己的亲戚、朋友、家人,

所以运用起来得心应手。提高了他们的学习兴趣和课堂氛围。不知不觉中提高了同学们的听、说、读、写能力,是非常成功的一节课。
