Unit 5 A Let's spell

教学目标：

1、学生能够掌握元音字母 u 在单词中的发音规则；

2、学生能够根据发音规则读出生词；

3、学生能够按照 u 的发音规则拼写单词，并进一步做到书写规范。

教学重难点： 掌握元音字母 u 在单词中的发音规律，并能够根据发音读出生词。

教 学 过 程 ： Step1 Leading in 1.Greeting

2.Review the sounds of letters. (1)Enjoy phonics song

Ss listen to the phonics songs and try to follow it.

（通过 TPR 增加学生的兴趣。）

(2) Review sounds of letters.

（通过打地鼠游戏迅速读出字母的发音，复习三年级上册所学的辅音发音。）

Step 2 Presentation.

1. Enjoy a story of ugly duck.

T：Guess,who is in the egg? A bug? A pup? Ss: Duck.

T: The duck is thin and big. He is ugly.Nobody likes him.

（初步感知 u 的发音）

2. 引出单词：fun,run,duck,under T: Ugly duck is upset.

So, mum tells him: (Listen.) Run,duck,run.

Under the sun.

It’s fun.

（通过妈妈对丑小鸭的爱，教育孩子们“A mum understands what a child does not say.

母亲最懂孩子心。”）

3. 通过鸭妈妈的话，导出单词：fun,run,duck,under T: Look at these four words.What can you find?

S：他们都有字母 u。3.Learn the new words.

(1) fun

T：How many sound?

Ss: Three.

T: Show me your hands. f-u-n-fun. Then，let Ss to read one by one.

(2) 同样的方式，学习 run，duck，under.

通过大小声训练（学习 duck 时要用大小声训练，让学生潜移默化发对清辅音），one-two- catch，point the word 的游戏，训练单词的发音。

Step 3 Practice.

1. Listen,repeat the new words.

（完成目标 1）

2. Let's chant.

Run duck run.(Quack) Run duck run.(Quack) Under the sun.(Quack) Under the sun.(Quack) Run duck run.(Quack)

Run run run.(Quack,quack.)

3. Play a game.T point, Ss read.

（巩固所学单词，进一步完成目标 1。）

4. Read, listen and number.

（1） Read the words together.

（2） Listen and number.

（3） Check.

5. Listen and write.

(完成目标 3) 6.Game.

Read the words as quickly as you can.

（通过单词的呈现，进一步完成目标 2。） 7.Chant.

(将呈现的单词选取 Step4 中的阅读所需要的 sun,drum,cups,jump,bus 编成 chant，为下面的故事阅读扫除阅读障碍。)

Step 4 Production.

1. Groupwork.

Go on reading the story about the ugly duck-- It’s fun to jump.

Jump over the cups.Jump over the drum.Jump over the bus. Jump over the sun. Oops! Fly,fly. A swan.

(情感提升：Believe in yourself. Never give up!)

Step5 Summary and Homework.

1. Summary.

Read the words on the Bb.

2. Homework.

(1)Practice the sounds of u and the key words. (2)Try to find more words with u and read. (3)Tell the story of ugly duck to your family.
