(2019·原创)Last year my English class was difficult for me. First of all, it wasn't easy of me to understand the teacher when she talked. To begin, she spoke too quickly, and I couldn't understand every words. Later on, I realized that it doesn't matter if you don't understand every word. I was also afraid to speak in the class, because I think my classmates might laugh at me. I couldn't always make complete sentences, too. Then I started to watch English­language TV. It helped a lot. I thought that do lots of listening practice is one of the secrets of become a good language learner. Another thing that I found English very difficult was grammar. So I decided to take lots of grammar notes in every class. It's amazed how much this helped. Now I am enjoying learning English and I got a “A” this term.

(2019·原创)Where I'm from, we're pretty relaxing about time. We don't like to rush around, but we don't mind if people are a little late for sometimes. If you told a friend you're going to their house for dinner, it's OK if you arrive a bit late. We like to enjoying our time slowly. We value time we spend with your family and friends. We often just drop by our friends' homes if we have time. We don't usually have to make plans to meet our friends. When we see each other, it's politely for boys to shake hand and for girls to kiss each other on the side of the face. We often just walk around the town center, seen as many of our friends as we can.

(2019·原创)Stonehenge, a rock circle, is not only one of Britain most famous historical places but also one of its greatest mystery. Every year it received more than 750，000 visitors. People like to go to this place especially in June as they want to see the sun rise on the longest day of the year.

For many years, historians believed Stonehenge was a temple where ancient leaders tried to communicate the gods. However, historian Paul Stoker thinks this can't be true because Stonehenge built so many centuries ago. “The leaders arrived in England much later on，” he points out.

Another popular idea is that Stonehenge might be a kind of calendar. The large stones are put together in a certain way. On midsummer's morning, the sun shines direct into the center of the stones. Other people believe the stones have a medical purpose. They think the stones can prevent ill and keep people healthy.

(2019·原创)In Switzerland, it's very important to be in time. We're the capital of clocks and watch, after all! If someone invite you to meet him or her at noon, then you're expect to be there at noon. If you're even 15 minutes later, your friend may get mad. So I make an effort to be on time when I meet my friends. I always leave the house early to avoid a heavy traffic because I think it's impolite to keep others for waiting. Also, we never visit a friends house without call first. We almost always make plans to see friends. We usually plan do something interesting, or go to somewhere together.

(2019·原创)How times flies! My school life is going to be over. I have spend three years in the school and I am very sad that I have to say goodbye for you. Here is what I want to say to my classmates and teachers. First of all, I'd like to congratulate to all the students who are here today. I remember meet all of you when we were just starting Grade 7 at this school. We have all grown up so much and I am proud in. Secondly, we must be thankful to the people which are around us, our parents, our teachers and our friends. Lastly, the end of junior high school is the begin of a new life. Although life in the future will be hard, we have to learn to choose wise and be responsible for our decisions and actions. The future is ours. Good luck and hope see you again sometime soon.

(2019·原创)When they watch movies about the future, we sometimes see robots. They are usually like human servants. They help with the houseworks and do jobs like work in dirty or danger places. Today there are already robots working in factory. Some can help to build cars, and they do simple jobs over and over again. Less people will do such jobs in the future because they are boring, but robots will never get boring. Scientists are now tried to make robots look like humans and do the same things as we do. Some robots in Japan can walk and dance. They are fun watch. However, some scientists believe that although we can make robots move like people, but it will be difficult to make them really think like a human.
