each, every, all用法辩异

each，every，all三个词的基本含义是“每一”，“全部”，但它们在使用时又有一定的区别，下面就它们用法上的异同加以说明。

1） There are trees on each side of the road.
（此句中的each不能使用every或all代替，因为这两者用于三者或三者以上范围之中。）
2） Each student in the class has a chance. （强调各自）
All the students in the class have a chance. （强调整体）
Every student in the class has a chance. （强调整体）
3）Each of the students is working hard at study.
The students each are working hard at study.
（上句中的each用作代词，不能用every代替，因为every只作形容词。）
4） Each student has his own desk.
（形容词each用作定语修饰主语时，谓语动词用单数。）
Each of the books here is interesting.
（代词each用作主语时，谓语动词用单数。）
They each have got a younger brother.
（代词each用作同位语时，谓语动词用复数。）
Each of the girls upstairs is/are married.
（代词each of ＋较长的短语＋复数时，谓语动词既可用单数也可用复数。）
5）All are here.
All invited have arrived in time.
（代词all指人时，谓语动词使用复数。）
All is in good order.
All that glitters is not gold.
（代词all指事物时，谓语动词使用单数。）
All the students have gone home.
（形容词all修饰可数名词时，谓语动词使用复数。）
All the money is spent on clothes.
（形容词all修饰不可数名词时，谓语动词使用单数。）
