惠州市惠阳地区举办惠州市惠城区、惠东县,加上大亚湾经济和龙门县和技术开发区、中凯高新技术产业开发区,两个国家级开发区。
,HuizhouadministersHuichengDistrict,HuiyangDistrict,HuidongCountyandLongmenCountyplusDayawanEconomic&TechnologicalDevelopmentZoneandZhongkaiHi-techIndustrialDevelopmentZone,andtwonational-leveldevelopmentzones.惠州市位于广东省东南部，珠江三角洲东北端，南临南海大亚湾，与深圳、香港毗邻，是中国大陆除深圳市外距离香港最近的城市。惠州市属珠三角经济区，现辖惠城、惠阳两区和博罗、惠东、龙门三县，设有大亚湾经济技术开发区和仲恺高新技术产业开发区两个国家级开发区。陆地面积1.12万平方公里，占珠三角经济区面积的1/4。海域面积4520平方公里，海岸线长223.6公里，是广东省的海洋大市之一。常住人口321万。
