Will E-books Replace Traditional Books?
With the rapid development of information technology, E-books have wound their way into our daily life and have gained increasing popularity mong common people. According to a recent survey conducted by CPB—Chinese Publishing Bureau, the past decade has witness target=_blank class=infotextkey>witnessed a sharp increase in the total kind of E-books from 3,400 to 856,000.
Some people hold that E-books will replace traditional books sooner or later. To begin with, all the E-books can be downloaded from the Internet directly，most of which are free of charge，while the traditional books in bookstores are much more expensive. What’s more, reading by computer instead of by paper has become a fashion in our life and therefore E-books will undoubtedly appeal to more people.
As far as I am concerned, nowadays traditional books are still the leading means of reading. However, with the further development of information technology, E-books will surely take the place of traditional books in the near future. (157 词）
