when talking about modern media, i watch tv almost every day. there are all kinds of programs on it almost at anytime of the day. one day i learned from the tv news that the children in the earthquake area didn’t have enough books to read. so i collected about 200 books from my classmates and my own bookcase and posted them to the area.

i think if we keep watching tv for news both in english and in chinese, we can benefit a lot from tv. but if we watch too much tv of cartoons or soap operas, we’ll become couch potatoes, and then tv will harm our health.
