The main characters of Brokeback Mountain are Ennis and Jack, both are high school dropout country boys with no prospects, brought up to hard work and privation, rough-mannered, rough-spoken, inured to the stoic life.”Ennis and Jack meet each other in Wyoming, where they're hired to watching over a large herd of sheep on Brokeback Mountain. Alone in nature's grandness, they are drawn to each other almost without their knowing. The summer ends and they go off to the rest of their lives. They both get married.They think that what happened on Brokeback Mountain is over, but it is not. They have stumbled into the great love of their lives, with all the problems and complications that implies for themselves. So they begin a painful affair.The two meet once or twice a year for fishing trips on which no fish are caught. Jack urges that they forsake their marriages and set up a ranch together. But Ennis is always feel afraid and shameful. Until one day Jack was killed in an accident. His only wish is to spray his bone ashes on the Brokeback Mountain. Ennis found Jack's old shirt from Brokeback days. The shirt seemed heavy until he saw there was another shirt inside it. It was his plaid shirt. The pair likes two skins, one inside the other, and two in one. What Ennis has now is only the memory of Brokeback Mountain and what he has on hand. Once someone said that everyone has his own Brokeback. It can
be the one we love, the place we once spent a good time in. I do believe that things sometime look more beautiful when it is not complete, just like the Mountain’s name, Brokeback.
And now people are fighting for homosexual legality,including The Obama administration.I think everything has its reason to exist.So we should at least respect homosexuality if we can’t accept it.
