Step 1 Warming-up

1. Sing a song. Ten little fingers.

2. T: Look, they are fingers. Now how many fingers?

Ss: Four fingers.

T: Good. How many fingers?

Ss: Seven.

Step 2 Pre-task

T: How many students are there in Group2? Let’s count.

Ss: One, two, three…twelve.

T: How many in group 3? Let’s count,too. OK?

Ss: One, two, three, …, thirteen,( Help them to say “thirteen”.), fourteen.(Help them to say “fourteen.”)

T:(Write 15,16,17,18,19 on Bb)Now you know “thirteen, fourteen”. Do you know these numbers?

Guide them to say “fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen”. Then teach “twenty”.

Step3 While-task

1. T: Open your books, turn to page 2.Look at Picture 1,let’s count how many bricks in it?

Ss: One, two,…,twelve.

T: What does Panpan say?

(Get the Ss to listen, then listen and repeat.)

2.T: Look at picture 2 , what color is Weiwei’s brick?

Ss: Red.
