A(AN)与ONE 的用法及区别
一般来说，a(an)和one都含有汉语“”一”的意思，且都有可以和单词可数名词搭配，二者有时可能互换，有时不能，而有时虽可以互换，然后的意思有所不同。下面就从这三方
面将此问题简述一下。
一、两者可以互换且意思基本不变的场合。
1和表示时间、距离、重量、货币等单位名词搭配。
例如：It took her an／one hour to finish writing the composition. 他花了一个小时写完作文。
The stone bridge is about a／one mile long . 那石桥约一英里长。
The machine is about a／one ton heavy. 这台机器约一吨重。
The book cost him a／one pound .这本书花去了他一英镑。
2和表示数量的短语搭配。如：a／one piece of bread 一片面包；a／one pair of trousers 一条裤子；a／one basket of eggs 一篮子鸡蛋。
3和hundred，thousand，million以及dozen（打），score(二十)等词搭配。
His grandmother livedtobe a／one hundred.他祖母活到一百岁。
“How many do you want？”“A／one dozen，please。”（“你要多少？”“要一打”）
4仅表“一”的数目概念而不含对比意味。
Comrade Wu has a／one boy and a／one girl. 吴同志有一男孩和一女孩。
I saw a／one woman with a／one baby arms .我看到一个妇女怀里抱着一个婴儿。
二、两者不可互换的场合
1、当a(an)泛指某类人或事物中的任何一个时，不可用one来替代。如：
如：He is a teacher and she is a nurse 他是教员，她是护士。
A child needs love. 孩子需要爱
A horse is a useful animal. 马是有用的动物
2、当a(an)相当于per（每一），用于表示价格、速度、比率、频率等短语中时，不可用one
来替代。
如: We have three meals a day .我们一天吃三餐
This cloth is 5 yuan a metre .这种布的价格是一米五元
She goes home 3 times a month .她一个月回家三次
3、当a(an)用于such，so，quite，rather，too等词之后时，亦不可用one替换。
例如：Such a big table（=so big a table）这么大的桌子
He is quite a man .他是个男子汉
That is rather an easy task. 那是一项颇为容易完成的任务
4﹑One 强调数目概念，因而当它与其它数词或other，another等词形成对比时，不可用a(an)
替换。
例如：I have one pen，but he has three .我只有一支笔，而他却有三支
He has two sisters.One is a singer and the other is a dancer.他有两个姐姐，一个会唱歌，另一个会跳舞。
One plus five is six.一加五等于六。
5、one 用作泛指词，不可用a(an)替换。如：
One must observe the rulers.人们必须遵守规则。
One can’t be too careful，can one？不怕过分小心，只怕力不从心。
I don’t like this hat. Can you show me a better one?我不喜欢这顶帽子，请给一顶更好看些的看看。
6、某些习语中的a(an)和one 不可随便互换。例如: a few 几个／a little一点，少量／a day or
two（=one or two days）一两天／in a hurry 匆忙／one by one一个一个地／one after another 一个接一个地／one anther 互相
三、两者可以互换，但其意思有所不同
不定冠词a(an)具有类别意义，可以泛指某类人或事物中的任何一个，不强调数目概念。
如“A shot gun is no good”是说“鸟枪没有用”，而将A换为One则是说“仅仅一只鸟枪是没用的”
