JOB DESCRIPTION FOR OPERATIONS MANAGER POSITIO
Position: Operation Manager-Nanjing/Hangzhou
Report to: Operation Director, China
Direct Reports: All Operation staff
Overall Objective:
The incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of
1.) Overall strategic direction and management of the Company’s Operations, including the Distribution center, Demand & Supply (Supply Chain management), Quality assurance and Customer Care Centre. She/He will manage the day-to-day operations in alignment with the China’s overall strategy and Performance standards
2.) Working closely with the company General Manager and other executives of the company to support and drive the business including new business development, contact negotiations and building Principal and customer relations. He/She will translate company strategy and business decision into actions and lead the implementations
3.) Taking the direction from Operation Director-China in driving process, system and organizational improvements in Company to ensure that internal company Operations operate efficiently and effectively and in line with the overall China policies and standards, with the ultimate aim to deliver first class distribution and logistics services to our Principals and customers at the controlled cost.
4.) To assist the company General Manager to develop a strong organization through coaching, training and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Overall responsible for the Operations, including development, implementation and achieving strategies, plans and functional budgets.
a. Yearly budget and long term plan for DC and Operating expenditure.
b. Continuously Improvement initiatives.
B. New business development, contact negotiations and building Principal and customer relations.
a. Develop the relationship with Principal’s Regional Business Manager and End customers to support the business development
b. Negotiate local purchasing contract.
c. Participate and co-develop distribution and logistics business. Including building relationships, contract negotiations and implement contractual obligation
D. Day-to-day Company Operations, including warehousing, logistics, QA, customer care and demand & supply
a. Developing cost-effective and high efficiency delivery network for city and Jiangsu province and operate DC under warehouse standard.
b. Lead Quality Management of the company includes building a strong Quality Assurance function, remain GSP compliant and achieve ISO certification
c. Management of the Customer Care Centre and leveraging on the CCC technology and tangible features to deliver customer value for the business. This includes including sales order management, customer inquiries and feed back, and Price contract management.
d. Lead demand and supply management with the goal to balance between minimizing NWC and minimizing stock-outs through forecasting and replenishing models
E. Fully support to projects and initiatives (including business models, ABC, information technology, performance management metrics, Cold chain hub,DD2H…etc).
F. Develop and lead improvement, simplification and standardization of processes and systems through business process optimization.
G. Develop individuals and teams through training, coaching and organizational development.

Expected Salary: 25000/month(gross) - 13 months salary
Bonus: upon performance
Allowance:
1. Apartment in the city - taxi charge included or very close to the company
(I am not sure if my wife would accompany me to move)
2. Weekend travel back to Shanghai
3. Mobile phone charge paid by company
Actually the allowance I put is according to my work life in Wuxi for Air product, I am not quite familiar with those items which company could provide, I think above mentioned would be OK if I could have.
