2.Introduce myself ：Hello, I’m Miss Liu. Look at me. I’m short . I have two eyes and two ears. I have a nose and a mouth . I have two arms, two hands and two legs.

3. Ss introduce themselves in pairs.

用课件打出B部分Let’s talk 和Let’s learn的图片，引导学生说出新句型It has...描述动物特征。

示例：

Look at the bird. It has a short tail. Look at the elephant. It has short legs.

2.语篇听读训练

A. 引导学生看B部分Let’s talk的图，猜测人物的对话内容。

B. 播放对话录音三遍，引导学生理解课文对话并依次回答问题：What does Chen Jie say about the elephant ? (It has a long nose.) What does John say about the elephant ? (It has a short tail.)What does Mike say about the elephant ? (It has small eyes and big ears.)
