The Day My Classmate Fell Ill

Last week, one of my classmates, Li Ming,was struck down by a serious infectious disease. He became very weak and was sent to hospital. The news spread quickly in the class. （描述背景段）

At first, many of us were afraid of being infected. However, under the teacher’s encouragement, we gradually conquered the anxiety and set out to try our best to help him. Some teachers and students brought many daily necessities and nutrients. And it impressed me most that some students recorded the lectures for Li Ming so that he would not be left behind. As a result, with our care and doctors’ professional treatment, he recovered quickly. （叙述经过段）
