Step1 Class Opening

Greetings

T: Good morning, class. How are you today?

Does everyone feel awake?

Did everyone get a good night’s sleep?

Sleep is very important .So is exercise.

2. Review some of the key importance from Lesson 43.

Step2 New Concepts

1. Leading in: T: Have you worked as a volunteer before?

Do you like animals? Would you like to volunteer for them?

2Listen .1) Play the tape for Lesson 44.

2) Play the tape a second time and all the students to complete Ex1.

3) Check the answer as a class.

3. Read. Instruct the students to read Lesson 44.
