A: Did you see the TV news today? A quake struck wenchuan county in Sichuan province. 你看了今天的新闻吗？四川地震了。

B: Yes, I did. It's so sad. 是啊。真惨！

C: The earthquake that struck Sichuan Province was so terrible. Tens of thousands of people have already died. 这次四川省的地震实在是太可怕了，上万人都丧生了。

D: Their houses were destroyed too. Every time I see something on the news, I just want to cry. 他们的家也都毁了，每次看新闻我都想哭。

A: They need our help. We should do something for them, like donating some money. 他们需要我们的帮助，我们应该为他们做点儿什么，比如捐款。

B: Yeah, we can also donate clothes and food. 是啊，我们还可以捐些衣服，食品什么的。

C: Following the quake, tens of thousands of volunteers from everywhere headed over to Sichuan to help with the relief work there. 地震发生后，成千上万的志愿者赶到了四川提供救援。

A: I also heard that they need a lot of blood donors, so we could do that too. 我听说还需要很多人去献血，我们也可以去啊。

A: Yeah! Though man cannot change its rules, he can make full use of them to reform the nature . Only in this way , can man manage to live in harmony with nature and live a better life.
