crashedin1987,andAlanandLindalostaconsiderableamountofmoney.Abizarrebutcostlylawsuitdepletedanotherhugeportionoftheirsavings.Onethingledtoanother,andtheyfoundthemselvesinafinancialdisaster.Assetsneededtobesold,andeventuallytheylostthecountryclubmembership,thecars,andthehouse.IttookseveralyearsandmuchhardworkforAlanandLindatolandontheirfeet,andthoughtheynowlivealifefarfromextravagant,theyhavetakenstockoftheirlivesandfeelquiteblessed.Onlynow,astheyassesswhattheyhaveleft--asolid,lovingmarriage,theirhealth,adependableincome,andgoodfriends--dotheyrealizethat
