It’s my great pleasure to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is“technology changes our life”。I hope you will like it
Technology is one of the most important factors to promote our society to develop from one era to another. Whether you are aware of it or not, every day at every time，technology is greatly influencing the way we live and work.
Technology has changed the way we communicate. Today, many devices are realized through other scientific and technological advances, which are very important in daily life. Most people have PC computers, tablets and smartphones that can easily communicate across different platforms. In the past, you had to write a letter to communicate with someone，and the letter may even take several days to deliver. You must also track the letter to see if it has been sent and received by the appropriate person. Mistakes are not uncommon. However, there is no such phenomenon today-science and technologies have determined this. If you want to communicate with someone in society, all you have to do is send messages or phone calls to them on social media.
Technology has changed how we pay bills and transfer money. You don't have to enter the bank for withdrawal or transfer to someone. And can even live without access to the bank. Many banks have been able to register online and are accessible to people. Companies like PayPal have created a platform for people to use the Internet to send and receive funds from anywhere. Payment of bills has also been simplified for technological reasons. You don't have to carry cash with you when shopping. With mobile phones and banking applications, you can pay all necessary bills online.
Technology has reduced our labor. In family life, doing housework is a task that every family is working on, but at a time when technology is becoming more and more developed; many small machines have been invented to make it easier for us to do housework. Refrigerator and washing machines are common household appliances. Sweeping robot, small and lovely, can not only clean the edges and corners of sanitation, but also artificial intelligence control, can give instructions from mobile phones, and will intelligently avoid obstacles and so on, is a good helper in home life.
Travel mode, efficient and fast transportation. Due to the development of science and technology, we have become more and more convenient to travel, gradually popularizing high-speed rail, subway and so on. The growing means of transportation are faster and more convenient in transportation. Once upon a time, it may take a few days and nights from south to north, but the new transportation time has been greatly shortened, which has also spawned many express transportation industries.
Thanks to technology, we now live comfortably and conveniently in houses furnished with air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and televisions etc.
•Thanks to technology, we can eat fresh vegetables at the year round.
•Thanks to technology, we can travel long distances in the fraction of a second on planes, trains and cars.
• Thanks to technology, we wear clothes with synthetic materials which cannot easily be worn out.
