最近，男女分校的话题又引起公众的注意（been put into public focus）is it a blessing or a curse?
缺点：
1．不经济。男女分校，是一种资源的浪费，浪费了空间和教资力量。这是一种经济上的浪费。
2．不利于情感的培养和交流。男女同校更有利于学生情感的培养，相对于男女分校的学生，他们更能与同年龄的异性交流。不同性别之间的思想交流有益学习
3．有助于学生身心发展，特别是青春期的心理，刻意的扼杀，反而适得其反
3．效率不高。（编造）根据一项调查，男女同校的学生学习的效率很高。
4．不适合将来的社会，因为社会是男女共同的社会
5. 一些人认为对青春期发展不利（not benefit to the adolescent development of students）.没有提供真实的社会氛围，so they lack the realistic preparation for the society in which they will be expected to function when they become adults.另外，it is not uncommon for students to grow up in the misunderstanding about the opposite sex. 很多毕业生发现很难理解异性，很难和他们相处和沟通。
优点：
1． 方便。男女分校在处理各自问题的时候，更加方便，没有性别的障碍。
2． 还有男女分校可以避免过多love affairs，避免早恋的出现，which 会影响学习。
3． 能更详细系统的分课程教学
4． 女孩子不大会受到男孩的欺负
5． 有利于学校管理
6． 包括一些家长在内的人认为在单性的学校学习有好处。因为男女在学习能力上不同（share the same performance in their study）,can make out appropriate curriculums and courses for students according to their sexual characteristics; 可以集中精力，避免早恋影响（devote themselves fully to the study and will not be distracted.）campus love affairs are very popular, which can be eradicated by purify the campus environment.
总之，各有利弊。个人看来，支持后者，学生需要广泛的交流来增加经验，而不能被孤立。应该牢记：any action violating the rule of nature will lead to the bad outcome.

A lot of schools in some countries are unisexual schools nowadays despite
of the fact that many people have argued the appropriateness of the
existence of such schools.
We know human beings are social creatures. They are social because men and
women take part in a common 'party' named society. If teenagers were divided
into two groups at the stage of their primary school period, they would
probably lose a sensitivity of the normal society. The primary problem faced
by unisexual school students is that they would have difficulties in
communicating with others, especially with people of opposite sex. They are
likely to have trouble in living alone after they join the working force
due to many unisexual school students' regulations. Another major problem
caused by unisexual education is that it would affect setting up families,
the basic cells of modern society. We can imagine（THE SITUATION THAT） a shy boy
who seldom has opportunities to talk with girls facing a lovely girl （but does not know）. NOT KNOWING how to express his affection, he is probably going to fail in winning （over） the girl's favor. Everybody has his or her own developing characteristics during the growth. The puberty is an essential stage in one's life. If male students and female students can have proper communication in their growing
stages of lives, they （do） not only mutually make up for their deficiency
by learning from the other's strong points, but also have progress in
their studies.
On the other hand, there are also advantages. Take women-only-schools as an
example, the school management systems are more succinct as all the students
are （females）FEMALE and the relationship among them is very pure. They can
concentrate on studies much better. What's more, some schools additionally
（build）OPEN certain curriculums such as flower arrangement, physique and female
defending techniques for the female students to（ take part in）ATTEND. These
activities would（ no doubt）DOUBTLESS help the students in developing their personal
interests and gaining practical knowledge.
（IN） Comparing advantages with disadvantages of unisexual schools, I believe
most people would tend to choose normal coeducation schools with both
genders because the disadvantages are far outweigh the advantages.

Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of segregated schools.
Image being asked to spend twelve or so years of years of your life in a society that consisted only of members of your own sex. How would you react? Unless there was something definitely wrong with you, you wouldn't be too happy about it, to say the least. But the fact is that segregated schools shoot up very rapidly around the world, furthermore, so many parents choose to impose such abnormal conditions on their children- conditions which they themselves wouldn't put up with for one minute!
Many sociologists and educationalists present their views on this issue from both sides. Those advocates of segregated schools argue that children from segregated schools have greater achievements academically. Socially in athletic and have greater self-confidence. Further, there are many more practical advantages in segregated schools such as administration. Adolescent problems can be dealt with better and more easily. Lastly in many countries, the most famous schools are segregated. It is a wonderful proof of their worth.
On the other side, those advocates of co-education point out that any discussion of this topic is bound to question the aims of education. One of the chief aims of education is equip future citizens with all they require to take their places in adult society which is made up of men and women. When segregated, boys and girls are made to feel that they are a race apart. Rivalry between the sexes is fostered. Anyone entering adult society after years of segregation can only be in for a shock. Segregated schools sometimes provide the right condition for sexual deviation and make children lack of healthy attitude to life that co-education encourages.
To sum up, every coin has double sides but from my point of view, I believe that though segregated schools have successfully existed for centuries it is about time somebody exploded that hoary old myth about segregated schools being the better place for your children.
