一、 说教材

本单元29课是一篇题为 “A Door to the World”的阅读教材,它在本单元是第五课,通过对英语的了解,增强同学们对英语的兴趣,认识到学英语的重要性,为以后的英语学习起到了铺垫作用。

二、 说学情

本节课教授的对象是七年级的学生,此阶段的学生虽然对课文的理解具备了一定的能力,但是阅读方法上还有所欠缺。

三、 说教学目标

1、 知识目标:掌握词汇:article , knowledge , communicate

掌握短语:communicatewith , connectwith , ask for , a good knowledge of

接触词汇:opportunity

2、 能力目标:掌握skim , scan 等阅读策略,提高语言的综合运用能力。

3、 情感目标:鼓励学生大胆表达,提高学英语的兴趣和信心。

四、 说教学重点、难点

重点:掌握本课的重点句子。

难点:阅读方法的掌握及运用。

五、 说教法

为落实大纲的要求,培养学生的听、说、读、写各方面的能力,本课教学从以下几方面进行:

1.阅读教学法

学生通过阅读课文,汲取信息。通过问题,让学生边读边寻找答案,要求学生在阅读时尽可能多地掌握课文内容,然后学生再细读课文,完成阅读题,对未教过的生词和习惯用语,鼓励学生推测其意思,养成学生“用脑思考”的习惯,培养他们独立阅读的能力。

2.听、说教学法

通过听录音,学生对课文内容有初步的了解,能正确回答老师对课文提出的问题,然后学生研读并复述课文,达到英语教学中说的目标。

3. 辅助教学多媒体

制作一些生动课件,引起同学们对学英语的兴趣。

六、 说学法

遵循“教为主导,学为主体,练为主线”的教育思想,但教师又要因人而导,对不同能力水平的学生给予不同的要求,为此,我设计了如下的阅读教学环节。

七、 说教学过程

Step 1 New words

用英语解释新单词,让同学们根据句子来猜测它的意思,然后领读纠音。接着让同学们大声读五遍后再挨个读.并把新单词中相关的短语进行板书,为学习课文做铺垫。

设计意图:试读培养学生拼读单词的能力。

Step 2 用刚学会的新单词填空

I love reading English _______, With a good ___________of English ,I can understand ___________between cultures around the world .

English is a big _________ for me . I don’t want to learn it .

Learning a foreign language takes time , but the new language can give us new ____________.

设计意图:巩固新单词,并理解在句子中的含义。

Step 3 Listen to the tape twice and fill in the blanks (听课文录音两遍并填空)

设计意图:对课文只是初步的了解,因此填空设计的比较简单,而且都是与新学的单词和短语有关。

Step 4 读课文判断对错

1. Many people all over the world are learning English. ( )

2. With a good knowledge of English, you can enjoy a better life . ( )

3. English helps you communicate with people from different countries. ( )

4. Learning a new language is very easy. ( )

设计意图:学生此时对课文有了初步的理解,所以设计的题目都比较直观,易于判断。

Step 5 精读课文第一段,然后填空。

设计意图:让同学们学会精读,加深对新单词和短语的巩固。

Step 6 精读第二段,然后回答问题。

设计意图:让同学们学会用重点短语复述该段内容。

Step 7 comprehension training

I think it is important for everyone to learn English well . We can get all kinds of wealth(财富)from English .

Firstly , if you can speak English , you can do business with foreigners and earn more money .

Secondly , you can make more friends if you can speak English . That will bring you more happiness.

Thirdly , you can get high sores in your English exam if you learn English well , which will be pleased with your parents and English teacher .

Fourthly , if you learn English well ,you can go to study abroad . Then you’ll gain more knowledge and learn about Western cultures and customs , and absorb(吸收)the best of both Western and Chinese education , which will be of benefit to you in the future .

Finally , if you learn English well , you can get a better job and a higher salary . That means you can enjoy a better quality of life .

学生讨论做题的过程中,讲解做阅读的方法。
