国风·召南 第五篇 甘棠
【概要】怀念召伯的政德。
蔽芾甘棠，勿剪勿伐，召伯所茇。 蔽芾甘棠，勿剪勿败，召伯所憩。 蔽芾甘棠，勿剪勿拜，召伯所说。
【注释】 01、甘棠：棠梨，杜梨，高大的落叶乔木，春华秋实，花色白，果小味酸。 02、蔽芾(Fei)：茂盛 03、召(Shao)伯：姬虎，周宣王的伯爵，封地为召 04、茇(Ba)：草舍，此作动词住 05、败：毁坏 06、拜(Ba)：扒 07、憩(Qi)、说(Shui)：休息
蔽芾甘棠、勿翦勿伐、召伯所茇。

[This] umbrageous sweet pear-tree ; -- Clip it not, hew it not down . Under it the chief of Zhou lodged .
